(Nima HS School Vs Lungtenzampa MS Shool )

Kencho Norbu of Nima made 112 runs of 85 balls to lead his team to semi final to be facing Dechencholing MS School at Jigmethang Cricket Ground on 27th Oct 2009. After winning the toss, Nima HS School decided to bat first and scored total of 315 runs in 30 over’s with fall of seven wickets. Before the start of the match everything was favoring Nima’s side; firstly Lungtenzampa few team members did not turn up on time and they land up playing with 8 players only. Secondly they had fewer bowlers. They had a tough time playing with 8 players and were Nima’s taking advantage by scoring more 2’s and singles. By the time when batsmen were setup there was no single of damaging Nima’s batsmen. Kencho, who batted so brilliantly to become the first batsmen to score century in this tournament. “My batting plan & routine worked and I am very happy today for my outcome” said Kencho Norbu. Lungtenzampa with shortage of bowlers had to utilize their part time bowlers and with less consistency they gave away 69 extras "the second highest scorer of the match" and also made them lose 6 overs because of over rate.
